Starting Over Again — and Why I Never Stopped Believing in Connection

When I founded #PilonPR, it wasn’t just about starting a business — it was about continuing a journey. A journey that began in Germany and found its purpose in #Detroit — at the crossroads of automotive, technology and innovation.
After more than 20 years in international #communications, working across #Germany and #NorthAmerica, I saw the same pattern again and again: Great companies with great technology — but struggling to tell their story across cultures.
That’s why I built PilonPR — to help German companies succeed in the U.S., American brands expand to Germany and to bridge the space in between — not just with language, but with understanding.
But there’s another reason I keep going.
Because behind every business story, there’s a personal one. Building a company as a foreigner, a wife and a mother of two in an industry that moves fast and speaks loud hasn’t always been easy.
There were moments when I had to rebuild networks and find clients from scratch — all while raising two children and keeping the vision alive together with my husband.
There were late nights and moments when the path ahead felt unclear. But every #challenge became part of PilonPR’s DNA — resilience, adaptability and the belief that communication can connect worlds, clarifying our #purpose and strengthening our #foundation with every step.
Today, I’m proud that PilonPR has grown into more than a PR agency. It’s a #bridge — between continents, between industries and between people — built with persistence, purpose and vision.
Because this isn’t just what we do.
It’s who we are.
