Monika Jakubczyk, Founder and CEO of PilonPR, is a German-American communications leader with more than 20 years of international experience in public relations, brand strategy and digital marketing. Born in Poland, raised in Germany and now based in Detroit, she embodies the cultural blend that defines PilonPR as a trusted partner for German companies entering the U.S. market and U.S. brands expanding into Germany.

As the global spokesperson for Kiekert, a leading automotive supplier, Monika directed media relations across four countries and built the company’s North American marketing communications function. She has also worked with global innovators such as Valeo and T-Systems/Deutsche Telekom, building deep expertise in automotive, manufacturing, mobility, technology and R&D marketing communications.

Fluent in English, German and Polish, with working knowledge of French and Spanish, Monika combines German precision with U.S. agility to deliver measurable growth for clients. She holds an MBA from Steinbeis University in Germany, a Master’s in Communications from RWTH University in Germany and has studied abroad at King’s College London and the University of São Paulo in Brazil - bringing a truly global perspective to every project.
